The
D/C Productions Northridge House Concert in Northridge
had a fine turnout and was an excellent intimate setting for a
show. House concerts are not to be missed - by far the
best way to present and experience live music - especially
acoustic live music. |

We played the
Wine Stage at this year’s Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival.
There were balloons and wine and oh yes, some great music!
We were thrilled to be part of the show, and afterwards
wandered over to the Main stage and listened to Howard Jones,
Gin Blossoms and Peter Frampton! Rock on! (so to speak). |

We can’t say
enough about this venue and proprietor Bob Stane. Susan Reeves
and Eric Brittain from Wild Sage opened for us. Wow! Susan sang
some original songs that oughta be on the radio, and Eric sang
harmony and played some incredible fiddle, mandolin and flat top
guitar. Oh, and did I mention that we had to follow that! |

We
got back a few weeks ago from playing the International Folk
Alliance National Conference in Austin TX. We were
privileged and thrilled to play along side of some of the best
singer/songwriters and groups in the Folk and Americana genres
of music. We saw old musical friends and made new ones.
Some of the talent was mindblowingly good!
Austin
is known as the "Live Music Capitol of the World" and
it's no idle boast! The city is filled with restaurants,
cafes, clubs, bars and venues all offering great live music.
There is a live band playing continuously in Austin Airport as
you arrive. This is a city with a small town feel, lots of
character and the University of Texas; Hook 'em Horns! I
can see how some of the music greats have come out of this city.
It oozes music! ...oozes?
Kaedmon
definately expanded our musical horizons and would love to
return to the Capital of Texas. We are back in California and
working on the follow up CD to “My Love” (which is about to
go into it's 3rd pressing.) Don't miss our upcoming shows here
locally. We are playing the Bodie House Concert in Agoura,
Saturday april 1 (no really!) and Coffee Gallery Backstage in
Altadena on Saturyday, May 20th. Stay tuned for details.
Hope to see you there. |

We had some really fun gigs in October.
On the 1st Kaedmon had the pleasure of playing live in the studio and over the airwaves via radio station KSCN
FM88.5 in Northridge. We were the guests of Larry Wines on his wonderful show ”Tied to the Tracks” which features music and artists in the Americana, roots and folk genres. We played many of the songs on our recently released CD
"My Love" which can be ordered on this
website by clicking here.
Speaking of the CD, we’ve sold out of our first pressing and are into the second. Thanks to all of you who have bought one and hope you‘re enjoying it!
Christmas is coming and they make great stocking stuffers.
Also, in October we had the honor of being asked to perform at
the Far West Folk Alliance Regional Conference in Woodland Hills.
We enjoyed seeing old music friends and making new ones. We have since been asked to the
National Folk Alliance Conference in Austin TX coming in February and will be playing in the midst of one of the greatest music scenes any city in America has to offer. Austin is Legendary!
But why wait! Kaedmon will be playing at one of our favorite venues this Friday night, December 16th at
Coffee Gallery Backstage in Altadena.
If you haven’t been there, you must go. This is one of few places around L.A. where you can see the best in acoustic music in an intimate setting.
Great stage, sound and lighting. Candle lit tables. Hosted by Bob
Stane.
He books no slouches! Hope to see you there. |

The September 23rd show at Coffee Gallery Backstage
(www.coffeegallery.com)
was really fun for the band and apparently for the packed house as well! Many friends and fans attended from out of town. Coffee Gallery is one of our favorite venues to play. Not many places around L.A. to see quality acoustic music in such an intimate setting. Impresario Bob Stane always ensures top quality entertainment, stage, sound, lighting, and all without a net!
Karen Mal, a wonderful singer songwriter from Austin opened for us and brought her own mix of original and traditional Celtic songs to a delighted audience. You can catch her on tour playing with Ronnie Cox's band if you're lucky.
www.karenmal.com
This show also served as the official release of Kaedmon's first CD "My Love". It's a 9-song CD of original music and one cover song written by Stephen Foster, yes that Stephen Foster!
Don't forget to check us out on the radio. On Oct. 1st we will be playing live in the studio on Larry Wines' "Tied to the Tracks" program on KSCN
88.5 FM starting at 8:30 A.M.
Click on Calender link for details.
For more info on the band or our new release, you can e-mail us at
